GENERAL STATEMENT
DEPARTMENT & SERVICES
The Department of Film at Brooklyn College is the only public undergraduate department of film studies and film production in the New York area. We offer two programs of study. Students seeking an undergraduate degree may earn a Bachelor of Arts in Film with concentrations in Film Production, Film Studies, Screenwriting, Film Producing, or Film Marketing. Students who wish to focus on filmmaking exclusively may take the 30-credit Certificate in Film Production program.
