1. After you have the citation (author, article title, name and date of the journal), go to the CUNY+ terminals.
2. Type dpac on the command line and hit the enter key. To go to dpac from another part of CUNY+ type cho dpac on the command line.
3. Type T=name of the journal and hit the enter key.
EXAMPLE: T=EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN
4. You will get a list of holdings with this title. If there is more than one with this title, pick the one marked SERIAL.
1. Psychology today <New York> SERIAL (BC)HINT: Periodicals are marked with the city of publication. Books have the year of publication after the title.
2. Psychology today <1989> (BC)If there are many matches for the title, a list with the title on top and other similar titles beneath it will come up. Type 1 and hit the enter key. On the next screen the periodicals are listed first.
At the next screen if more than one CUNY location (library) receives the journal, pick the one that has (BC) at the end of the line. Type the line # and hit the enter key.
EXAMPLE:
EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN1. <NEW YORK> SERIAL (BB)Type 2 and hit the enter key.
2. <NEW YORK> SERIAL (BC)
3. <NEW YORK> SERIAL (CC)5. When the record for the journal is on the screen, type hol and hit the enter key to see holdings information for the Brooklyn College Library. There may be more than one screen. Look at all the screens by hitting the enter key until no new screens appear.

- CURRENT ISSUES: Periodicals--lower level of the library. Current issues are arranged alphabetically by title.
- BROOKLYN PERIODICAL STACKS: Periodicals--lower level of the library. You will need the call number to find these journal issues.
- SHELVED UNDER TITLE: Documents & Microforms Room--lower level. Microfilm is arranged alphabetically by title.
