The Faculty Training and Development Laboratory is located on the lower level of the Library (Room 019). The Faculty Lab provides access to hardware and software, and training and support in the effective use of these technologies for all Brooklyn College faculty. As a facility for learning new technologies, creating teaching materials, and sharing research results, the Faculty Lab is consistent with the College's plan to place basic and high-use equipment on faculty desktops, but to locate costly, specialized hardware and software in a central facility where training and consultation are also available.

In the Faculty Lab, you will have access to state-of-the-art equipment for:

In addition to a continuing series of hands-on training sessions, providing basic through advanced levels of instruction, the knowledgeable and helpful staff of the Faculty Lab are available to assist you with your computing needs. You may also arrange for one-on-one training, both in the Lab and in faculty work spaces throughout the campus, for assistance with developing, for example, your own Web pages and/or multimedia products.

Additionally, you will have access to a comprehensive library of documentation in the effective academic use of various computing technologies.
