Selected CUNY-Wide Resources Only
CUNY provides a separate method of access for CUNY-wide resources. Proxy setup allows access to both CUNY and Brooklyn
College Resources.
1st — Activate your Library barcode
You must activate your barcode at the Brooklyn College Library Circulation Desk (you’ve already done this if you’ve
checked out books). Your activated Library barcode will allow you to use CUNY-wide resources from off-campus.
For an updated list of CUNY-Wide resources, go to: http://library.brooklyn.cuny.edu/ and click Databases. Look for the
resources with the  icon
2nd — Access CUNY-wide Resources from off campus
- From the Library’s Databases page, click on the CUNY icon
- The CUNY authentication screen should appear next (see below).
- Type in your activated Library barcode number (no spaces) and Click "Login"
- You should be taken directly to the database you chose.
