Theme V: The Once & Future Library

This Sloan Foundation-funded faculty training and development opportunity is also Blackboard-based. One-semester stipends are available to faculty throughout the City University of New York who are willing to make a commitment to produce either a fully- or partially-virtual section of one of their courses. In the early fall 2000, AIT staff personally contacted about two dozen faculty clients, encouraging them to take advantage of this opportunity. As a result, Brooklyn has a strong presence in this program, and AIT is providing our participants with strong local support for their course site work.
