Intra-Library Training

In March 2002 Library Systems initiated a series of four workshops targeting the Library's professional staff and the Library-Café staff. A number of interesting topics were covered. The topics included:

Windows NetMeeting: How to Use It in an Academic Environment Advanced Sophos-Fortres Configurations Basic Network Troubleshooting

Associate director for Library Systems Alex Rudshteyn believes that in the future these workshops must be placed within a larger picture, viewed as much as marketing tools as training tools. Those who attend a workshop should be encouraged thereafter to make an appointment with a member of the AIT staff, in order to learn more about the topic.
