In January 2003 librarians Barbara Scheele (Assistant Professor) and Frederick Bogin (Associate Professor) retired, taking advantage of the University's Early Retirement Initiative. Head of Acquisitions Bertha Bendelstein contemplated taking the ERI but to our great joy reversed her decision before the January deadline.
