The New Library:

• Celebrating our first birthday in the new building
• Welcoming ITS staff to the new building
• Identifying additional space for archival materials
• Making the space scheduling system available to the public
• Completing the installation of wireless technology throughout the building
• Exploring possible changes to Information Services' spaces
• Producing a commemorative booklet that introduces the new building
• Determining the best use of resources that result from gifts to the new Library

Planning:

• Delivering service, relying on adjunct support for of the Library's professional staffing in Information Services
• Designing a plan for outcomes assessment

Collections:

• Creating an oral history for the Alfred Collection
• Preparing and implementing a digitization plan for our archival collections (print, still image, and moving image), including standards for quality control, benchmarking, and metadata

Technology for Teaching & Learning:

• Planning and implementing PDA applications for Library services
• Installing and programming the new plasma screens
• Redesigning the Library Web site
• Hiring a DSI Specialist
• Completing the planning for the new Library Café pavilion
• Developing a plan for service delivery while the Café expansion proceeds
