Theme 3: Electronic Information Resources
CUNY Electronic Resources Advisory Committee (ERAC)

Associate Librarian for Collection Development Susan Vaughn chairs the University's Electronic Resources Advisory Committee. For the fourth year, this group has compiled a survey of all the electronic products available CUNY-wide, both from the central office and individual campuses. Using the survey, ERAC members can identify products where mini-consortia make sense (schools band together to buy a product, obtaining a more favorable price). This year's survey's preliminary results show that CUNY spends about $4,864,574 on electronic resources. Of this, the University's Office of Library Services spends about $1,521,287 on resources that are available to all campuses. On the campus side, Student Technology Fee Money accounts for about $1,124,204.
