SECTION III: BECOMING A MODEL CITIZEN IN THE BOROUGH OF BROOKLYN

The Library is a citizen of many communities. These include:

  • Campus constituencies such as Faculty Council's Committee on the Library, the Library Representatives, the Technology Representatives, our colleagues in Information Technology and Services, and Student Government

  • External but related communities, like the faculty and students of other CUNY campuses

  • Alumnae/alumni, whom we reach principally through the activities of the Friends of the Library

  • New York City and the Borough of Brooklyn

  • The general public, for whom Special Collections' and Government Publications' materials and services are valuable tools
