Serving the Campus in Many Ways

REGISTRATION

Once again in 2004-2005, the Library hosted registration for fall, spring, and summer terms. This is a collaborative effort among the Library, Facilities, Security, and the Undergraduate Dean's Office, ensuring that registration is a positive experience for everyone.

TRANSFER DAY OPEN HOUSE

Miriam Deutch worked with Admissions staff to plan and coordinate the use of the entire fourth floor of the Library for Transfer Day Open Houses held on November 10 and November 16. The event went very smoothly.

BOOK A ROOM IN THE LIBRARY!

Thanks to AIT's room reservation system, anyone who likes can reserve Library space online, from the Library Web site. Student clubs regularly book group studies for their meetings. We try never to turn anyone away: when we get a request that we can't meet, we invite the requester in to look at other spaces. Very seldom do we fail to find a "fit."

THE LIBRARY BOOK SALE ROOM

The Library Book Sale Room, located just behind the Circulation Desk, continues to be enormously popular. Unwanted gifts are sold at bargain rates ($1 for hardbacks, $.50 for soft covers) and regulars prowl the shelves for new offerings. Books are arranged by subject, for easy browsing.
