Preminger Archival Internship
In spring 2004, a committee consisting of Barbra Higginbotham, Anthony Cucchiara, Philip Napoli, Robert Oliva, and Marianne LaBatto was established to develop criteria for the Alex Preminger Archival Internship. This opportunity for a post-graduate students carries a stipend of $5,000. Applications were sent to library schools across the country and was posted electronically on the Web sites and listservs of schools of archival and museum studies. The first intern was Dorothea Coiffe, a graduate of the Pratt Institute's library school. During her internship, Dorothea created a "This Day in Brooklyn College History" calendar which was used as part of our 75th anniversary celebration.
