After a hiatus, the binding of music periodicals has resumed; Honora Raphael and her staff have quite a backlog of unbound music journals to tackle.

The music librarian is about to begin the assessment of a gift of hundreds of jazz LPs, most of them rare, donated by Leon Hodara.

Because of the Conservatory's emphasis on the wide-open new world of "sound art," non-standard compositional techniques, and multi-media applications, the Library has many new areas for which to collect.
