Reserves
The Reserves collection circulated more volumes this year than in any since 1998. This room and its collection, conveniently located just off the Library foyer, continue to be among the most heavily used in the building. Additional computers and extended hours are contributing factors; during exams, Reserves stays open until midnight.
Circulation
After lengthy testing, staff can now email overdue notices and messages about lost books to readers with Brooklyn College email accounts. However, owing to Brooklyn College firewall issues, we cannot reach the many students and faculty who use AOL, Yahoo, Verizon, and so on.
