Faculty Training & Development 2004-2005
- The Faculty Training and Development Lab continues to play an important role on campus. Serving about 1,000 faculty each year, the Lab is especially important to the College's many adjuncts, most of whom do not have PCs in their offices and depend on the Lab for all their computing needs. Alex Rudshteyn recommends a flyer about the Lab which can be inserted in the binders Human Resources gives all new hires.
- The most popular requests are for scanning and digitization assistance, and help in creating Blackboard and PowerPoint presentations.
- In 2004-2005 staff conducted 72 faculty workshops in four series: online pedagogy, course site design, creating digital media, and Blackboard.
