Biographical Note

Melvyn Vader (1943 - ) was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Ben and Edith (Auerbach) Vader. He attended local schools including Brooklyn’s Tilden High School.

       Thereafter, he earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Brooklyn College and taught middle school students. Although retired, Mr. Vader continues, with his long-time partner, Robert B. Henderson, to live in the borough of Brooklyn, New York.
