ERIC (ProQuest)
Information Subscription Resource - Proxy Access CUNY Access

This database is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education to provide extensive access to education-related literature. ERIC provides coverage of journal articles, conferences, meetings, government documents, theses, dissertations, reports, audiovisual media, bibliographies, directories, books and monographs.

NB: Update 5/2013: ERIC has restored online access to more than 21,000 full-text ERIC Document PDFs with publication dates from 2005-2013. These are documents that were previously restricted due to privacy concerns. Restrictions also have been lifted on the release of newly indexed, copyright-cleared full text with publication dates of 2005 or greater. ERIC expects this project to be largely completed (with the possible exception of a few outlier documents) in the summer of 2014.

If you are having trouble accessing the full text of an ERIC Document, request it using Interlibrary Loan. Make sure you have the ERIC Document Number when creating your request. You can also search FDsys here as an alternative if your document was published between 1995 and 2004.
