CINAHL Plus with Full Text covers nursing, biomedicine, health sciences librarianship, alternative/complementary medicine, consumer health and 17 allied health disciplines. CINAHL Plus with Full Text provides full text for more than 770 journals and full text for more than 275 books/monographs. In addition, CINAHL Plus with Full Text offers access to health care books, nursing dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of practice, educational software, audiovisuals and book chapters. It provides indexing of more than 4,600 journals from the fields of nursing and allied health.

The Cochrane Library is a unique source of reliable and up-to-date information on the effects of interventions in health care. The Cochrane Library is composed of a number of different databases containing different types of high-quality, independent evidence to inform healthcare decision-making: the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, the Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effects, the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, the Cochrane Methodology Register, the Health Technology Assessment Database, the NHS Economic Evaluation Database, and About The Cochrane Collaboration. Search assistance in many languages is available in multiple formats, including PowerPoint presentations, PDF brochures, virtual webinars and online tutorials.

This multi-source database provides indexing for over 300 journals, 1500 general interest magazines and more than 1800 medical topic overviews covering a wide range of health related topics, as well as the full text of nursing and allied health journals. The database allows users to search for articles, reports, conference notes, and other types of media, such as sound and video files, and photographs. Coverage is from 1980 to present.

Coverage goes as far back as 1823. Content areas include Physical Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities.

A comprehensive database covering articles from over 19,000 peer-reviewed titles from more than 5,000 international publishers (including over 1800 open access journals). Records cover 1966 to the present from all scientific, technical, medical, and social science fields (and some arts and humanities). Scopus has an excellent, intuitive interface that allows users to fine-tune their searches; features include author searches, cited reference searches, and alert tools.

Academic Search Complete is a comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 8,600 full-text periodicals, including nearly 7,500 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 12,500 journals and a total of more than 13,200 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. The database features content going back as far as 1887, with the majority of full-text titles in native (searchable) PDF format. Searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,400 journals.

HighWire Press, a division of Stanford University Libraries, produces the online versions of high-impact, peer-reviewed journals and other scholarly content. The database offers access to the full-text of over 1,500 leading journals available from the journals' own sites for complete and accurate representation of the research at its source (including articles published online ahead of print, reference works, books, and proceedings); plus all of Medline -- with links to full text. Some journals offer completely free access, some offer free access to a range of back issues, and some offer free trial periods.

JSTOR offers full-text access to archival scholarly journals. It offers both multidisciplinary and discipline-specific collections, covering such topics as Art, Business, Language & Literature, Mathematics, Music, Ecology, & Botany. JSTOR includes journal content, primary sources, images, and more across the humanities, social sciences, and sciences. Because of JSTOR's archival mission, there is approximately a 1-5 year gap between the most recently published journal issue and the content available in the database.

Open Science Directory is a tool for finding open access journals in science, medicine, and agriculture (among other fields). There are over 13,000 scientific journals on the OSD, the most important collections being Directory of Open Access Journals, BioMed Central, HighWire Press, and PubMed Central. Users can browse/search by journal title, subject, and keyword. Access to each journal's website is provided through the Open Science Directory.

PsycINFO provides indexing coverage of all document types, including journal articles, book chapters, books, dissertations, and technical reports. It contains over 3 million citations and summaries dating as far back as the 1600s. The database is international in scope, covering the academic, research, and practice literature in psychology as well as relevant materials from related disciplines such as medicine, psychiatry, education, social work, law, criminology, social science, and organizational behavior.

SocINDEX with Full Text offers comprehensive coverage of sociology, encompassing all sub-disciplines and closely related areas of study. The database features more than 1,600,000 records with subject headings from a 15,600 term sociological thesaurus designed by subject experts and expert lexicographers. This product also contains informative abstracts for 1,300 "core" coverage journals dating as far back as 1895. In addition, this file provides data mined from more than 450 "priority" coverage journals as well as from over 2,900 "selective" coverage journals. This database also includes full text for more than 830 books and monographs, and full text for over 16,800 conference papers.

SpringerLink is Springer's online full-text archive for journals and books. The CDC's Office of Public Health Genomics (OPHG) aims to integrate genomics into public health research, policy, and programs.  Health professionals can find links to data, technical reports and funding opportunities.  For consumers, there are genomic test reports, research findings and information on how genes, the environment and behavior interact.

ODS and the National Library of Medicine (NLM) partnered to create this Dietary Supplement Subset of NLM's PubMed.  The subset will retrieve dietary supplement-related citations on topics including chemical composition, biochemical role and function, clinical trials, health and adverse effects, fortification, traditional Chinese medicine and other folk/ethnic supplement practices, cultivation of botanical products used as dietary supplements and surveys of dietary supplement use.
