http://academic.brooklyn.cuny.edu/library/about_library/speccoll/htmlfa/Kleinman/index.htm
These materials were donated by Professor Paula Fichtner. The collection documents the experiences of a Jewish businessman in Nazi Germany. Included are A.I. Kleinman's correspondence with various governmental agencies in Berlin prior to the family's emigration to the United States in 1941. After the war, Mr. Kleinman attempted to locate missing family members and to claim family property seized in Poland during the war. This is shown in his correspondence with refugee assistance agencies, U.S. governmental agencies, and the Jewish National Fund.
The Gerald B. Stein Collection (4 cubic feet)
