In 2000 Professor Adina Back began an oral history project documenting the Farm Labor Project and the Vanguard newspaper. Material from the Archives are being used as background to prepare for the interviews that will be conducted. Student assistants have also collected photographs and documents from College alumni who participated in the Farm Labor Project.

Membership in the Friends continues to build. The annual premium for those who joined at the $250 or higher level was a wooden model of LaGuardia Hall, including the new wing that is presently under construction.
