Wireless Access |

Things to Remember!
  • As a Brooklyn College student, you have access to the campus-wide wireless network! You need a wireless-ready device (such as a laptop or PDA) and your BC email ID and password.
  • If you don't know or remember your BC email ID and/or password, you can always check "My Info" in the BC WebCentral Portal.
  • Once you have your ID and password, you must go to the WEB, where a friendly staff member will configure your device.

Wireless Access

Wireless computing is available at specific locations throughout the library.

To access the Internet wirelessly, you must be a Brooklyn College student, faculty, or staff member with an active Brooklyn College email account. Your BC email username and password are also the username and password to log onto the wireless network. (If you do not know this information, please see the WebCentral Help page on obtaining your BC email ID and password.)

Your laptop or other wireless device must be configured to work with our wireless network. To get your laptop configured, visit the computer lab on the 1st floor of the West End Building (WEB) (M-F, 9-5), call (718) 951-5787, or visit http://bc-wifi.brooklyn.cuny.edu.

Wireless access is available at specific locations around campus and throughout the library: see floor plans of the wireless network at the Brooklyn College Library and learn how to get started.

Once your laptop has been configured for WiFi you may print from your laptop in the library using this URL: https://webprint.brooklyn.cuny.edu/. To get your laptop configured, visit the West End Building (WEB), 1st Floor.
