This database is a collaboration between the well-respected The Arden Shakespeare and a board of noted Shakespeare scholars. Users can search for full-text of all of Shakespeare's plays, poems, and sonnets, as well as criticism and related reference. Researchers can also search using the subject guide, and there are external links to websites of importance to Shakespeare scholars. Of note is a timeline highlighting Shakespeare and his output alongside important historical events, many of which of these events are linked to short reference articles or essays.
